How to Get a Library Card
LIBRARY CARD APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign them up for a library card. Must be 5 years or older to have a library card.
Applicants must provide ONE from each of the following two sections:
1) Identification

Valid Arkansas driver's license or Arkansas state-issued

Valid out-of-state driver's license in Coahoma County Mississippi

Military ID

Valid passport (U.S. or foreign)

Valid alien registration card

Valid School Id
2) Current home address. Must be dated within the last 60 days and show the applicant’s name and home address.

Utility bill, bank statement, or other billing statement

Postmarked mail with a visible date

Rent receipt or lease, imprinted with the owner, Property Management Company, or apartment building information.

Pay stub, imprinted with company name. Checkbooks are not acceptable.

Current property tax bill or receipt
The name and address on both ID and Proof of address MUST match.
After you get your library card you can check out 1 item the first time. After that item is returned you can check out up to 5 items at once.
The first card is free. If the card is lost a charge of $1.00 will be charged for a new card.
Exceptions are made if someone in your household already has a card.
